Memmert

Memmert HCP50 Humidity Chamber

The Memmert HCP50 Humidity Chamber is a compact solution for laboratories that require precise humidity control within a smaller footprint. Its 56-litre chamber is well suited for controlled testing where space is limited but accuracy remains essential.

This model supports applications such as controlled humidity exposure, small-batch reliability testing, and standardised conditions like 85°C / 85% RH testing. It allows users to evaluate material behaviour and product performance under defined environmental stress.

Temperature & Humidity Working Range (HCP Series)

Not all climate chambers operate under the same conditions. Factors such as the moisture content of the samples, surrounding ambient conditions, and the required temperature–humidity range all influence the selection of the right chamber.

The HCP series is designed to support a wide range of temperature and humidity combinations. The working range diagram illustrates how these parameters can be adjusted to suit different testing requirements.

Under standard ambient conditions (22 °C ± 3 K and relative humidity below 50%), the chamber can operate continuously within its specified range. Near the boundary limits, condensation may occur depending on the sample load and environmental conditions.

Applications

The Memmert HCP50 humidity chamber is suitable for:

  • Small-scale accelerated ageing and reliability tests
  • Controlled humidity exposure for sensitive materials
  • 85/85 testing (85°C / 85% RH) in compact setups
  • Product validation during early-stage development
  • Research and laboratory-based environmental testing
